1.8 is just around the corner for the NA server.

Of all the features that interest me the most, with the upcoming patch, is the War Cache model. Based on the Personal Missions from World of Tanks and just like the Missions for reward aircraft previously seen in World of Warplanes, I have been digging and sifting through the web, trying to build a much clearer picture of what this will be and what the rewards are.

So, bare with me here, I am going to give this my best "educated guess" on what I find and how I am interpreting it.

From the top screenshot, it would appear these Missions are launched from a tab on the upper left side of the screen, much like how they have been done before.Already, if you don't have a tier IV or higher and/or dislike Random Battles, you are out of luck.

If this screen holds true to what I will be seeing when 1.8 does come to the NA server, it should be a straight forward, self explanatory series of tasks. My question is, do they have to be completed in a certain sequence or can one jump around to the tasks that might be more interesting to complete?

Here is where I get a bit confused. From reading here http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http://forum.worldofwarplanes.ru/index.php%3F/topic/73672-%25D0%25BB%25D1%2591%25D1%2582%25D0%25BD%25D1%258B%25D0%25B5-%25D0%25BD%25D0%25B0%25D0%25B1%25D0%25BE%25D1%2580%25D1%258B/&usg=ALkJrhgGAPmtDRrtr4CwunK9oHTpuUJOwg#topmost there seems to be a "risk" involved with collecting the prizes, by redeeming the tokens. Like a slot machine or Roulette wheel. So, I checked out the English version of the patch notes here http://worldofwarplanes.com/news/announcements/update-18/

Equipment & Consumables

A wide range of new Equipment types and Consumables were added. They have a more pronounced effect on aircraft behavior. These will not be available for purchase in Depot. In order to obtain them, participate in War Cache, which comprises a set of special missions. By completing them, players can earn Tokens. Tokens can be used to get special prizes, including novelty Equipment unavailable for purchase in the Depot, as well as unique paint schemes and emblems, and discounts on Premium aircraft. Tokens can also be used to purchase new Premium aircraft of tier VIII.
  • Tokens:
    • During the event it will be possible to get 2 coupons Tokens once per 24h for logging into the game client;
    • It will be possible to earn coupons Tokens as a reward for completing the event battle missions;
    • It will be possible to purchase coupons Tokens for Gold. Exchange rate: 1 Coupon Token = 50 Gold
  • Prizes for participation in the event will be accrued randomly when coupons Tokens spent for the participation in the minigame
    • Prizes include new types of Equipment and Consumables (which will be temporarily unavailable for the purchase)
    • Prizes include event camouflages paint schemes and emblems (which will be unavailable for the purchase)
    • Prizes include discounts for purchasing Premium planes of III-VIII tiers
  • Tokens earned and purchased for Gold during the event can be used for the purchase of the new Premium planes
Okay, I think I got this. Do the Missions, collect the tokens and build up a nest egg, check. Don't buy tokens for Gold/Real Money, check. Avoid taking the chance on the Mini-Game potion, because I have this feeling the odds will not be in my favor/prizes aren't enough to warrant spending tokens, check.

Bank up the tokens for purchasing upper tiered premium aircraft through this program, check.

Perhaps, wait and see what will really come, comparing my plan here, with what the actual requirements, limitations on gameplay and real life time will allow me? Check!
